Tool Trailer
Get In The Car originally piled tools into the back of a truck, but after the first trip saw the need for a tool trailer to be more work efficient and also more self sufficient. The tool trailer was donated after the first mission trip taken in January of 2006 and was ready for use by the second trip in March 2006. The trailer consists of tools that have been donated or have been purchased by donations. Both the tools and the tool trailer are funded purely through donations made by people who have traveled with GITC, used the trailer for their own use or mission team, or who believe that God has put GITC into motion to serve as Christ’s hands and feet.
AVAILABILITY: Get In The Car has made the tool trailer available to any church in the Michigan Conferences of the United Methodist Church for local or national missions. The trailer is 5’ x 10’ and ready to go with tools including but not limited to: wrenches, screwdrivers, drywall equipment, painting equipment, and various roofing tools. A ˝ ton vehicle and a 2” ball on the hitch is required to tow the trailer. GITC does not charge for the use of the trailer. Advanced notification is greatly appreciated to complete necessary paperwork.
Our goal is to have the tool trailer in use 52 weeks out of the year. If you do not have tools for mission work at either the local or national level, we invite you to use our tools and tool trailer.
Please visit our calendar to view the trailer’s availability.
