Missions
LOCAL MISSIONS:
Get In The Car’s Local Mission Outreach is continually
looking for places to go and projects to be involved
with. Currently
we are working with Joy-Southfield Community Development
Corporation, Brown Evangelical Ministries and a host of
local churches of all denominations, to provide any and
all “missionaries” an opportunity to serve where
they have been called into the local community.

We continually look for opportunities for all age
groups to work together to participate within the
community that is our own backyard. We are willing to
combine efforts with others to reach those in need at
the local level.
NATIONAL MISSIONS:
Get In The Car National Mission Outreach is currently
involved with the Gulf Coast in response to the
destruction left after Hurricane Katrina and Rita also
Ike and Gustav. GITC
is committed to the region twice a year until we are
informed that we are no longer needed.
Along with the Gulf Coast, Get In The Car Has
recently responded to the call of flooding in the
Mid-West, Tornadic activity in Southern Illinois and
Church Camp rehabilitation in the Upper Peninsula of
Northern Michigan.
One of our two tool trailer also accompanies all
mission teams in their travels to assist in the
reconstruction effort of the area they will be working
in.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS:
Get In The Car International Mission Outreach is a
support type mission network, building prayer teams,
assisting in fundraising activities and helping to
provide supplies to teams traveling internationally to
assist those effected by natural along with economic
disasters of all types.
Building and collecting Flood Buckets and Health Kits
to distribute to those are in need are just a couple
examples of this outreach.
*GITC team leaders are VIM (Volunteers In Mission)
trained and have a strong commitment to serve the Lord
in any way using the opportunities He has provided them*
